"I started from my own need when I was pregnant: naturally flirtatious, I would have liked to continue dressing elegantly at an affordable price. However, I couldn't find anything in this segment." , says Candice Merlet, the founder of "Neuvième Ciel". Coming from a consulting background for major luxury brands and a former analyst for Chanel and Pernod Ricard, the young woman changed direction during her pregnancy and decided to found her own fashion brand, exclusively dedicated to expectant mothers. Baby-doll dresses, pussy-bow shirts, waxed pants, capes and overalls... Each piece is designed locally, using materials sourced in Paris, by "little hands" trained in sewing techniques.
