Candice's Homemade Shortcrust Pastry Pies

F or all pregnant women who want to treat themselves during their pregnancy, make your own shortcrust pastry!

It’s healthy, tastes better, quick and economical…

And good news! I have a great recipe!

Here are the ingredients you will need: 250 g of flour. 125 g of butter. 125 g of caster sugar. 1 pinch of salt. 1 egg. 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, almond powder.

Recipe: In a bowl, mix the egg with the caster sugar and a pinch of salt. Put the flour on the work surface, make a well in the center, pour in the contents of the bowl, then the melted butter (definitely not liquid butter!). Knead everything until you obtain a smooth dough. Roll it out with a rolling pin or by hand (I do it by hand for more authenticity).

I then add almond powder to the dough before putting pieces of seasonal fruit (very ripe) cut in half on the tart (taking care to remove the stones).

Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. You can put aluminum foil on top to make sure it doesn't burn.
